u3a

Alfreton & District

u3a is a UK-wide movement of locally-run interest groups that provide a wide range of opportunities to come together to learn for fun. Members explore new ideas, skills and activities together. Membership is open to everyone who’s not working full-time.

Why not come along to Alfreton and District meetings to hear our varied speakers and find out about our interest groups? You may come along to one meeting free of charge.

We normally meet at 2pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Christ the King Church Hall, 104 Nottingham Road, Alfreton DE55 7GL. It is on a bus route and there is easy car parking.

We are a small, friendly and welcoming, group of people. Do visit us. This is an informal meeting with tea, coffee and biscuits followed by an interesting talk. You will be most welcome.

Coffee/ Brunch Mornings are held at 10.30am on 3rd Wednesday of each month at Maple Mews coffee lounge, Cressy Road, Alfreton.

This is a very informal group, to which any member is welcome, and it is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow members a little better.

Why not join us on the 3rd Wednesday for a bit of company and a chat, and maybe something to eat?

Welcome to Alfreton & District u3a
